EDITION 21 | SEPTEMBER 2026 |
🍂 Welcome to the September 2026 edition of Trust Truman, your guide to health, wellness, and Medicare! Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period begins October 15, and this special edition points you directly to the Care Compass AEP 2027 page, where you can understand your next step before the busy fall begins. We’re also sharing Tara’s outlook for 2027 and a fun Pennsylvania fall find. Let’s dive in! |
🧭 AEP 2027: START HERE
|
Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period, often called AEP or Open Enrollment, runs from October 15 through December 7, 2026. During that window, you can review and make changes to your Medicare coverage for 2027. Any changes take effect January 1, 2027.
This year, Care Compass is using a focused review process so Tara can give timely attention to the people facing the biggest coverage disruptions first. We’ll take care of everyone who requests a review, but we will begin with the clients who need help most urgently.
|
1. HIGH DISRUPTION FIRST
Immediate attention for clients facing major plan disruptions.
|
2. MODERATE DISRUPTION NEXT
Reviews for important medication, doctor, hospital, pharmacy, or cost changes.
|
3. GENERAL REVIEWS LAST
General plan reviews follow after the most urgent situations are resolved.
|
START WITH THE AEP 2027 PAGE
The AEP 2027: Your Next Steps page is the best place to begin. It explains the process for clients who received a letter, clients requesting a general plan review, people with Medigap and a stand-alone Part D plan, and new clients. It also includes the electronic form, printable documents, and the right next step for your situation.
One important request: Before October 1, federal rules do not allow us to discuss plan-specific information. Please do not call or text the office to schedule an appointment. Our AEP 2027 page has the full process, forms, and next steps for both current and new clients. Once we confirm that we have your information, please give our team time to complete the review. Status-check calls slow the process for everyone. |
